How to Care for your Eyewear
We recommend the following eyewear care tips
to help extend the life of your new purchase and keep your
eyewear looking good over its lifetime.

To prevent scratching of lenses, always
use a liquid cleaner and a soft cleaning cloth. The
rough texture of paper products may scratch your lenses,
therefore we recommend the use of Multi-Clean Lens
Cleaner and a Microfibre Cleaning Cloth.
These products have been specifically manufactured to be
used on all lenses, including Anti-Reflective coatings to
help maintain the integrity of the lens surface.

To help maintain the original shape of the
frame use both hands when taking off your eyewear.

When not wearing your eyewear, store them
in their protective case, away from direct sunlight or
extreme heat.

Visit out location at least once
every 90 days for a free inspection and adjustment.

What if I want to change frame styles?
To ensure that you are completely satisfied with the
style, fit and feel of your new frames, we offer a one time
frame exchange within 30 days of purchase. One of our
trained professionals will assist you in selecting another
style of equal value.
What if I can't get used to my progressive lenses?
If you have difficulty adjusting to your progressive
lenses, we will change your lenses within 30 days to a more
suitable lens type.
What if my prescription changes?
If your prescription changes within 30 days of the
purchase date we will remake your lenses to the new
prescription, provided that the date of the original eye
examination was within the preceding 180 days.
MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY
Your eyewear is covered by a one year
manufacturer's guarantee against defects in workmanship and
materials.
ACCIDENTAL BREAKAGE AND SCRATCHING GUARANTEE
At Haliburton Optical we recognize that
sometimes accidents do happen. In order to assist you
when you need it most, we are pleased to offer an Accident
Breakage and Scratching Guarantee.
